Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026.

Scope of the policy and the products or services it covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of access to Course A, a professional resource dedicated to studio production in motion. It covers studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and creating smooth high-quality workflows for television news and live shows. The policy governs payments made through the website operated by charmixa for digital course materials, video lessons, downloadable resources and any associated subscription services available to customers in the United Kingdom.

Prices, currencies, taxes, and any additional charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Prices include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. No additional charges apply for standard access unless expressly stated at checkout. Any currency conversion fees charged by your payment provider are your responsibility and are not controlled by charmixa.

Accepted payment methods, payment authorisation, and payment security

We accept major credit and debit cards processed securely through established UK payment gateways. Payment is authorised at the time of purchase. All transactions use encrypted connections compliant with UK data protection standards. charmixa does not store full card details.

Order, booking, or service confirmation and when a contract is formed

A contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation email after successful payment. This confirmation sets out the details of your access to Course A materials. You should retain this email for your records.

Cancellation rights and applicable cancellation periods

Under UK consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel for any reason. If you have already started accessing digital content you may lose this right unless you expressly consent to immediate access.

Refund eligibility, exclusions, and non-refundable items or services

Refunds are available within the 14-day period if you have not accessed substantial portions of the course. Access to completed modules, downloaded resources or promotional bundles may be excluded from refund. Services already rendered are non-refundable.

The step-by-step procedure and information required to request a refund

To request a refund contact pg@productionguild.com or use the form on the Contacts page. Provide your order number, full name, email address associated with the purchase and a brief reason. Requests must be submitted within the applicable period.

Inspection, approval, rejection, and notification of the refund decision

charmixa will review your request within five working days. You will be notified by email whether the refund is approved or rejected. If rejected the email will explain the reason and any options for appeal.

Refund method, processing time, and when funds should reach the customer

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval. Bank processing times may vary and funds should appear within fourteen days of approval.

Special rules for digital content, subscriptions, services, or promotional offers where relevant

Digital content is provided immediately upon purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers are subject to their own terms and may not be eligible for refund after redemption.

Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and suspected fraud

Failed payments will result in access being suspended until resolved. Duplicate charges should be reported immediately to pg@productionguild.com. Chargebacks are investigated and may lead to account restrictions. Suspected fraud will be reported to relevant authorities.

Mandatory consumer rights in the target country that the policy cannot exclude

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or UK GDPR. You retain rights to remedies for faulty digital content and to data protection complaints via the Information Commissioner’s Office.
